Steady, respectful rides to the care that matters.

Non-emergency medical transportation, including wheelchair-accessible rides, for appointments, discharges, and recurring care. Patients, families, and facilities send the trip details, and Code 1 reviews each request and follows up to confirm.

Trips you can request.

Any of these trips can be requested as a wheelchair-accessible ride. Share the trip in plain terms. Code 1 reviews every request and confirms availability, timing, and any assistance notes directly with you before the ride.

Medical appointments

Rides to clinics, specialists, therapy, testing, and independent medical exams, with a return trip if you need one.

Hospital discharges

A ride home or to the next care setting after discharge. Discharge planners and families can send the details ahead of time.

Recurring rides

Repeating appointments on a regular schedule. List the dates and times so Code 1 can review the full series with you.

Facility transfers

Non-emergency trips between homes, care facilities, and clinics, requested by the facility or a care coordinator.

Two ways in, one clear process.

Practical questions.

Is this an emergency service?

No. Code 1 provides non-emergency transportation only and does not provide ambulance or emergency medical care. For a medical emergency, call 911.

How far ahead should I request a ride?

As early as you can, especially for discharges and recurring appointments. Availability is confirmed by Code 1 directly, so a request is not a booking until you hear back.

Can a family member or caregiver ride along?

Note any companion in your request. Code 1 will confirm what can be arranged for that trip.

Do you offer wheelchair-accessible rides?

Yes. Choose "Yes" for a wheelchair-accessible ride on the request form, or mention it when you call. Note whether the wheelchair is manual or powered, plus any other mobility needs, and Code 1 will confirm the vehicle and timing with you before the ride.

How is payment handled?

Pricing, payment, eligibility, and authorization details are not published on this site. Ask Code 1 directly when you request the ride.

Which areas do you serve?

Code 1 is based in Seattle and serves Washington State. Include both addresses and Code 1 will confirm the route.

Questions before you send a request?

Call or email Code 1 Transportation. Facilities can also send referrals by fax. Looking for private, airport, or event transportation instead? See all services.
